Several sources suggest that the song in the new commercial promoting season 5 of Swamp People is "I Know What I Am" by Band of Skulls. This song can also be heard in Season 4, Episode 1 of Gossip Girl, Season 4, Episode 1 of Friday Nights Lights, and Season 1, Episode 11 of Rookie Blue.
Season 5 of Swamp People just premiered on Monday, February 3, 2014 on the History Channel at 9PM ET/PT. Willie, Junior, Liz, Jay Paul Molinere, RJ, Bruce Mitchell, and Troy Landry all returned.
