Dave Hester took a 2-year hiatus after being fired from the show. While cast members may not be legally harmed for mentioning Dave Hester's name (so long as it will not cause any conflict) after his subsequent dismissal, his absence would technically mean that his name would not be mentioned.
In 2012, David Hester sued A&E for $750,000 saying that the show is rigged. Hester's suit claims he was fired from participating in the series' fourth season after expressing concerns that manipulating the storage lockers for the sake of the show was illegal.
