The age and date of birth of KSTP-TV meteorologist Dave Dahl is unpublished. We were able to find out that he attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from 1972 to 1975 and that he reported his age in a 2012 article to be 57. With this information we'd say he was probably born in 1955 or 1956, and is 58 or 59 now.
Dahl joined the 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS team in 1977 and began doing on-air weather reporting in 1979. He became Chief Meteorologist in 1979. You can see him on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS weeknights at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 10 p.m. or his hear his forecasts and current weather warnings or advisories weekdays on KS95's morning show, KS95's afternoon show with Moon and Staci, and 1500 ESPN Twin Cities.
He was named 1998's Broadcaster of the Year by the Minnesota Broadcaster's Association and received an Emmy Award in 2003 for Single Newscast ("Wellstone Crash").
