Some sources suggest that A&E plugged the plug on Dog the Bounty Hunter in May 2012 due to a breakdown in negotiations. Others close to the cast say that the show was cancelled after season 8 because of "creative differences."
Dog the Bounty Hunter returned to television in syndication on CMT in September 2013.
Dog and Beth: On the Hunt debuted on CMT on April 21, 2013.
Beth Chapman, wife of the Dog, is currently senior vice president of the Professional Bail Agents of the United States, representing 15,000 bail agents across the nation.
